Terms of Service

1.Eligibility & accounts

You must be able to form a binding contract and be acting on behalf of a business to use the Service. You are responsible for the information you provide, for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials, and for all activity under your account. Notify us promptly of any unauthorised use.

2.Use of the Service

You agree to use the Service lawfully and not to:

• Upload unlawful, infringing, or malicious content;
• Attempt to disrupt, reverse-engineer, or gain unauthorised access to the Service;
• Use the Service to violate the rights of others or any applicable law;
• Misrepresent your identity or business information.

3.Trials, plans & billing

We offer a 1-month free trial with access to features as described at sign-up. Paid plans are billed according to the plan and billing cycle you select. Prices, plan features, and limits are as shown on our pricing page and may be updated from time to time. You authorise us and our payment providers to charge the applicable fees to your chosen payment method.

4.Cancellation & refunds

You may cancel your subscription at any time; cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period. Except where required by law, fees already paid are non-refundable. On cancellation you retain access to export your data, subject to statutory retention obligations.

5.Your data

You retain ownership of the business and financial data you enter or upload. You grant us the permissions needed to host, process, and display that data to operate the Service (including AI-assisted receipt processing). Our handling of personal information is described in our Privacy Policy.

6.Availability & changes

We work to keep the Service available and reliable, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted access. We may add, change, or remove features, and may perform maintenance that temporarily affects availability. We will make reasonable efforts to minimise disruption.

7.Professional advice disclaimer

TaxFiji provides accounting tools and, where you opt in, review by a qualified accountant. The Service does not replace independent legal, tax, or financial advice. You are responsible for the accuracy of the records you submit and for meeting your own filing obligations with the Fiji Revenue & Customs Service (FRCS).

8.Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, the Service is provided "as is". We are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, and our total liability arising from the Service is limited to the amount you paid us in the twelve months preceding the claim.

9.Suspension & termination

We may suspend or terminate access if you breach these Terms or use the Service in a way that risks harm to others or to the Service. You may stop using the Service at any time.

10.Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Fiji, and any disputes are subject to the jurisdiction of the Fiji courts.

11.Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. When we do, we will revise the "Last updated" date above. Your continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
